Frequently asked questions

·       How much do custom sugar cookies cost?

o   Custom cookies start at $68 per dozen.  Prices are based on theme, number of designs, number of colors and details.  Printed logo/photo cookies start at $60 per dozen.  These are a single shape, Iced white, with a high quality logo of photo file, that Is supplied by the client, printed on the cookie.

 Can you ship my order?

o   Unfortunately, no.  Since I am licensed, I must adhere to the California Cottage Food Laws.  I am not permitted to ship.  I am only able to offer order pickups.

·       Where can I pick up?

o   Pickups are in East Anaheim.  Major cross streets are Lincoln and St. College.  No Contact porch pickups can be arranged, if desired.  A few days before your pick up date, I will reach out to you to discuss a convenient time window for your pickup.

·       How far in advance should I order?

o   My calendar is filling up, so as soon as you know you will need custom cookies, you should reach out for a quote.  Since I am creating custom cookies in addition to my full time “day job”, I require 2 weeks’ notice so that I can schedule my time accordingly.  If you are in a bind and need them sooner than 2 weeks, please reach out to me to see if I can accommodate your request.  Orders with a turn around of under 2 weeks will require a rush fee of 20%

·       How does the ordering process work for custom orders?

o   I use a baked goods ordering service.  If you click here , you will be directed to that site.  Here you can provide me details about what you want, the event, the pickup date, and inspiration pictures.  I will then respond with a custom quote.  Once you have received your custom quote, it will be good for 24 hours. If I do not receive a response, you will run the risk of another customer taking your place in line.

·       Is there a minimum number of cookies I can order?

o   I require a minimum order of 1 dozen! Need fewer? Stay tuned for a holiday presale announced on my Facebook page!

·       When is the payment due for my order?

o   . You pay, I bake! Payment is required up front, as soon as you accept the quote, so that I can source your cute cutters, spectacular sprinkles, and perfect packaging. Your payment reserves your pick-up date too! Win win for all of us!  I accept payments via Venmo: @Amy-Gray-41.  I also accept payments through credit card or Zelle, or cash within 48 hours of quote acceptance.

·       What if I change my mind, after I submit my order and make payment?

o   . I can offer refunds up to 24 hours after the payment is accepted. Unfortunately, after that time, I cannot offer refunds as your cutter order has likely already been placed. But the good news - you get the cookies!

·       Can I make changes to my order after I place it?

o   Decisions are tough! But we're here to help. Order changes can be made until 14 days before the pick up date. After that, all change requests will be under consideration and a small fee will apply.

·       Can I give you inspiration pictures?

o   I welcome those inspo pictures, especially since I am just starting out.  They're just that - inspiring. But your cookies may not be perfect replicas - I'll try to keep it close.

·       How will my cookies be packaged?

o   Your cookies are packaged in a container, with each cookie individually bagged and heat sealed for freshness. Tags, ribbons and any other packaging items are available for an additional price. Let me know what you are looking for and we can talk about the cost.

·       Why do your prices keep increasing?  I ordered a few months ago and now the price per dozen is higher.

o   All prices are subject to change. Prices are often dictated by ingredients costs. I'm always trying to provide the best tasting cookies to my clients (for example, I use the best vanilla bean paste, Nielsen-Massey Pure Vanilla Bean Paste, current price $100 for 32 oz)…. This also means I can't honor old pricing (because the local grocery store won't honor their old butter and flour prices - darn it).

·       Why can’t you make character cookies?

o   . Copyrighted images (think Disney, Star Wars and Peppa Pig) are protected, and I won't be able to replicate them baked goods (who wants cookie controversy, right?). I can make a similar color palette though - so let's talk!

·       What happens if my cookies break after I pick them up?

o   Once you pickup your order (thanks again, by the way), what happens to your cookies and car doors (I hate door dings) is all on you! Keep 'em safe, keep 'em cool, and keep 'em away from the parking lot cart returns.

·       Are your cookies allergy friendly?

o   Baked goods are often made with foods that can be known allergens. While I can do my best to accommodate, I can't always accommodate allergy-conscious orders.

·       What does it mean that you have a Cottage Food License?

o   It means that your cookies have been made in a home kitchen that was not inspected. Our kitchen is not nut free, egg free, dairy free, gluten free. Boring disclaimer, but we have to say it per the law.

·       What flavors of cookies do you offer?

o   Our signature recipe , which is most popular among our customers, is Almond Vanilla, but you can also choose Vanilla if you do not enjoy the taste of almond.  For holiday pre-sales, I will offer additional flavors, like Orange, Lemon, Chocolate, Churro, Snickerdoodle and Gingerbread.

·       What is a pre-sale?

o   A pre-sale is when I design sets of cookies to align with a holiday or other special event, like back-to-school, teacher appreciation, etc.  I will offer various designs on a pre-order basis, with either one or a few pick up days.  These are usually a smaller number of cookies, at a lower price point than a custom dozen.  I also offer DIY kits that contain “naked” cookies, bags of icing, sprinkles, a scribe tool, and instructions.  These are really fun! Keep your eyes out, I have some fun sets coming out for Halloween and Christmas!
